The musical work "Memory of the Poet" immortalizes the life of the late poet Sultan bin Ali al-Uweiss and his creative legacy, emphasizing the importance of preserving the Arabic language and the cultural and intellectual heritage of the Arab world.

As part of an exclusive collaboration and in connection with the launch of the initiative "Literary and Book Pavilion" this year, the Abu Dhabi Culture and Arts Group organized a ceremony for the signing of the book "Poet Sultan bin Ali al-Uweiss: Contribution to Culture," which documents the biography and work of the deceased Emirati poet.

The Sultan al-Uweiss Foundation aims to strengthen cooperation in cultural interests. To strengthen the Arabic cultural and intellectual exchange, the Abu Dhabi Culture and Arts Group and the Sultan bin Ali al-Uweiss Foundation signed a memorandum on mutual cooperation.

At their celebration at the Dubai International Book Fair as part of the "Literary and Book Pavilion" initiative, the signing of a document dedicated to the memory of Sultan bin Ali al-Uweiss was organized, in honor of the potential commemorative anniversary of his birth in 2025, aimed at commemorating his profound cultural legacy, which is recognized as one of the main pillars of contemporary Arabic literature.

"Today we gathered to commemorate the anniversary of the poet's birth, as well as to honor his timeless contribution, his inspiring legacy, and true vision," said Khuda Al-Hemis. "He was a generous man, invested in the mind and heart, enabling a unique combination of thought with wisdom and word, a poet, entrusted to culture and identity, a leader in strengthening the position of the United Arab Emirates, a beacon of renewal, dreams, and visions on the path to development and the creation of civilization."

Ibrahim Al-Hashimi noted: "We wanted to underscore the synergy of cultural roles with similar institutions, aiming at strengthening and supporting cooperation and consultations in the field of culture and Arab thought as a whole."

This initiative aims to promote mutual goals of two institutions in supporting literary talents of the emirates and the region through cultural and educational programs, including research publications, seminars, trainings, and cultural forums, and also the sharing of resources and experiences.

The book proposes a deep analysis of the literary work of Sultan bin Ali al-Uweiss, highlighting his contribution to the poetic and cultural sphere, and also underlines his role as one of the prominent contemporary Emirati and Arab poets.

The Abu Dhabi Culture and Arts Group has launched a collection titled "Star of Poetry" in memory of the late poet Prince Badra bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
